Jo of Mah Designs has been busy in March, she has added another new kit to her store at The Studio. This one is just in time for Spring, aptly named Think Spring. The papers are a pastel delight and the elements a merry mix of whimsy. The kit is offered now at a special introductory price so check it out. Below are previews and a page I made with it. Clutter It Lil Ladybug

Mah Designs has a new kit out, and it is part of an interesting line of products at The Studio called Clutter Its. These mini kits are a hybrid product, the backgrounds are like templates but there are elements included so you can adorn your pages however you like. The backgrounds are varied and include many different options for your photos.

The new Clutter It is called Lil Ladybug and is done with a blend of reds, black , white and a touch of green. This color scheme and the elements will work for both boys or girls, young or old.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is a new kit by Mah Designs available at Digital Scrapbooking Studio. There is a definite tropical feel to Sunset Beach but it also works with Atlantic seashore themes. Check it out below.

This is the first QP I've attempted and it is made with Mah Designs lovely kit Bluetiful which was profiled earlier.

Would like to note that the placement of the paper squares and space for photo were inspired by a layout called Candles by Maria at Au coin de l'objectif.

Before moving on would like to go back and add to the previous posts. First Nathan of Nathan Designs has released his first template, Inspire Me Vol. 1. Since I had not shown a preview of his work before and wanted to make up for the oversight, I made a page combining Citrus Life and the template.

Bluetiful

This will be my first post highlighting a commercial product. This is a kit from a new designer on the scene, an up and comer, if you will. The kit is Bluetiful and is from Mah Designs at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

The papers in this kit are especially pretty and to showcase that I did a layout using 7 of the 18 papers included with Bluetiful.

Mah Designs has another new kit out Sunset Beach which will be the topic of the next post.

Citrus Life

Here is the first thank you layout, acknowledging the work of two designers who provided freebies on their sites. The template for the layout was done by Redelf, Clean Template #1 and the kit Citrus Life by Nathan Designs ( a welcome male addition to designing.) The kit is loaded with gorgeous papers and an alpha is included.

A New Adventure in Time

Time is one of our most precious resources, within each day or hour we experience the now as a moment. We have everyday moments, special moments, moments we will never forget, and some which if not captured may fade with the passing years. A Scrap of Time will be a place where digital scrap- booking will be promoted as a way to preserve these moments.

I am new to digital scrapping, just started in Dec 2009, so this space will also serve to chronicle lessons learned, great products found, and new trends developing.

One thing I learned right away was that there are many many talented people creating for the scrapping medium. Many do this simply for the joy of creation and the joy of sharing their creations with others. I will try to give a little back to these artists by using the products they have created and posting the results here as a way to say thank you and to increase exposure for these generous folks.

An additional focus of the site will be to highlight products designed commercially and sold online.
